Program Description
The Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering program
is designed to integrate available and emerging technologies with knowledge of mathematics, natural, social and applied sciences
to conceptualize, design, and implement new, improved, or innovative electronic, computer and communication systems, devices,
goods, services and processes.
The BSECE curriculum is based on CMO 24, s. 2008 - the Policies and Standards (PS) for the degree of Bachelor
of Science in Electronics Engineering (BSECE) issued by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) and is benchmarked from
the curriculum of leading international academic institutions offering this program.
Program Objectives
AMA's BSECE program aims to produce globally competitive graduates
who will be professionally competent, morally upright, and socially responsible contributors to national development.
Specifically, the program intends:
1. to enable students to obtain a comprehensive knowledge and deep understanding of the field of Electronics
Engineering.
2. to enable to acquire the theoretical and practical skills needed to be a globally competitive professional
Electronics Engineer.
3. to enable students to get a broad liberal education in the arts and letters, social sciences and philosophy,
natural science and mathematics.
4. to enable students to develop the cultural sensitivity, ethical responsibility, and social conciousness needed
to become upright citizens of the Philippines and the world.
